Our approach
Morrow Apps makes small, focused software. We try to collect as little information as possible and keep useful data on your device. This policy applies to the Tide Mac app and this website.
Information we collect
Tide does not require an account and does not collect, sell, or share personal information from inside the app. We do not use advertising identifiers, third-party analytics, or tracking pixels in the app.
Data stored on your Mac
App preferences and session information are stored locally on your Mac so the app can remember your settings and resume its normal operation. This information is not sent to us. Removing the app may remove locally stored app data according to macOS behavior.
Support messages
If you email us, we receive the email address and the contents of your message. We use that information only to respond to you, investigate a support request, and keep a reasonable record of our correspondence. We do not use support emails for marketing unless you specifically ask us to.
This website
This website is a lightweight static site. It does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. Your web host may create ordinary server logs, such as an IP address, browser type, or request time, for security and reliability. Those logs are controlled by the hosting provider and are not used by us to build a profile of visitors.
Children's privacy
Our app and website are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If our data practices change, we will update this page and its revision date. The current version will always be available at this URL.
